Intelligence: SoftBank’s press release confirms it has fully satisfied its up-to-$40 billion investment pledge in OpenAI, marking one of the largest AI financing rounds to date.

• Completed its second closing on December 26, 2025, with a $22.5 billion injection and fulfilled its March 2025 commitment announced in April.

• The total $41 billion financing, including $11 billion from co-investors, values OpenAI at approximately $300 billion post-money.
