Replit and Microsoft Forge Partnership to Democratize AI-Powered Software Development
Intelligence: Replit has announced a strategic partnership with Microsoft, aiming to enable non-engineering business teams to easily develop and deploy enterprise-grade software using natural language on Microsoft’s Azure cloud infrastructure.

Replit will integrate with a range of Microsoft Azure services, including Container Apps, Virtual Machines, and the native Neon Serverless Postgres integration.

Moonvalley’s “Marey” Challenges the AI Video Generation Field with a 3D-Aware, Filmmaker-Focused Model
Intelligence: Los Angeles startup Moonvalley publicly released its 3D-aware video-generation model, Marey, providing filmmakers with greater creative control than standard text-to-video AI tools and aiming to transform access to advanced storytelling technology.

Source: Moonvalley
Marey was previously in beta and is now available via a subscription model, costing $14.99 for 100 credits up to $149.99 for 1,000 credits. Each generated video can be up to five seconds long, in line with competitors.
Unlike many rivals, Marey was trained exclusively on openly licensed data, minimizing legal risks for filmmakers worried about copyright infringement in AI-generated content.
The tool emphasizes a hybrid approach that grants creators more hands-on control over objects, characters, and scene composition and supports interactive storytelling elements such as respecting physical laws and realistic motion.
Users can change backgrounds, animate camera movements (including near-360-degree pans), mimic different filming techniques, and adjust scenes after footage is generated.
Independent filmmaker Ángel Manuel Soto credits Marey with reducing his production costs by 20–40% and says the technology widens access to filmmaking, helping storytellers who lack industry connections or funding.
