More than 75% of Perplexity users already visit monthly for financial questions, and Pro and Max subscribers can now use Computer to build custom net worth calculators, debt payoff planners, retirement dashboards, and cash flow forecasts grounded in both their personal account data and investment-grade sources like FactSet, S&P Global, and SEC filings.
The average person juggles nearly three financial apps to see a complete picture of their money and Perplexity's Plaid integration collapses that into one interface with freeform querying, letting users ask questions their existing apps were never designed to answer.
Computer-powered tools built on linked account data can monitor finances in real time in the background, giving users ongoing advisor-like analysis without requiring them to return and manually re-query as balances and transactions change.

Poke Raises Additional $10 Million at $300 Million Valuation to Make AI Agents Accessible via iMessage, SMS, and Telegram
Intelligence: Poke, built by Palo Alto-based The Interaction Company, raised an additional $10 million on top of its $15 million seed round, now valued at $300 million to scale its AI agent that operates entirely through iMessage, SMS, and Telegram without requiring any app installation, positioning itself as the accessible alternative to technically complex agentic systems like OpenClaw by letting users automate tasks, manage calendars, track health, and control smart home devices through plain text.

Poke's recipe system offers pre-made automations across health, productivity, finance, scheduling, and developer tools that activate with a single tap and connect to services users already use including Gmail, Google Calendar, Notion, Strava, Oura, GitHub, and Cursor Cloud Agents with users having already created thousands of additional recipes that will soon be surfaced in a public directory.
Pricing is personalized and AI-determined based on actual usage costs, with free access for queries that don't require real-time inference and fees only applied to compute-heavy automations like real-time email monitoring or live flight tracking, a model the company arrived at by literally having users negotiate their monthly price with the agent during beta.
WhatsApp support remains limited after Meta barred third-party general-purpose chatbots last fall, but antitrust probes from EU, Italian, and Brazilian regulators have already brought Poke back to Brazil and may force Meta to lower fees and reopen.
