OpenAI Launches o3-pro—The Enhanced AI Model for Pro Users
Intelligence: OpenAI has officially released o3-pro, a new version of their most advanced AI model, designed for enhanced reasoning and reliability, now available to Pro and Team users.

OpenAI introduced o3-pro on June 10, 2025, aimed at providing more reliable responses than its predecessor, o1-pro.
o3-pro excels in considered tasks across domains such as math, science, and programming, retaining access to useful tools for web searching, file analysis, and visual reasoning.
In expert evaluations, o3-pro consistently outperformed o3, especially in science, education, programming, and business applications, achieving higher ratings for clarity and accuracy.
OpenAI employed a "4/4 reliability" test to gauge o3-pro's performance, with success defined as correctly answering questions across multiple attempts.
Pro and Team users can access o3-pro immediately, while Enterprise and Edu users will gain access the following week.
Currently, o3-pro does not support temporary chats or image generation; users are directed to alternative models for those features.

Apple's WWDC 2025 Unveils iOS 26 with Major Changes
Intelligence: Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2025 revealed significant updates to iOS, including a new naming convention and a major visual redesign meant to enhance user experience on iPhones.

Apple will rename its operating systems based on the year of release, with iOS transitioning from version 19 to iOS 26 for the fall 2025 launch. This change aims to reduce confusion and align all systems, including iPadOS and macOS.
A complete visual overhaul characterized by a "liquid glass" look is set to change the user interface considerably. This marks the first major redesign since iOS 7 in 2013. Features include translucent elements, new app icons, and simplified navigation menus.
Key apps like Phone, FaceTime, and Messages receive significant updates, including improved voicemail management, call screening, dynamic message backgrounds, and spam detection.
Wallet will introduce digital IDs and better tracking for boarding passes. Maps will offer learned routes with traffic updates and a location history feature.
A new "Games" app will be introduced, streamlining Apple Arcade access and enhancing gamers' experiences on iOS devices.
Notable AI features include improved translation tools for calls and messages, visual intelligence for contextual assistance, and on-device models for app developers.
Enhanced parental controls simplify creating child accounts and granting exemption rights, while new accessibility features aim to create a more inclusive experience for users with disabilities.
