Don’t get SaaD. Get Rippling.
Remember when software made business simpler?
Today, the average company runs 100+ apps—each with its own logins, data, and headaches. HR can’t find employee info. IT fights security blind spots. Finance reconciles numbers instead of planning growth.
Our State of Software Sprawl report reveals the true cost of “Software as a Disservice” (SaaD)—and how much time, money, and sanity it’s draining from your teams.
The future of work is unified. Don’t get SaaD. Get Rippling.

Microsoft Forms ‘Superintelligence’ Team for Medical AI
Intelligence: Microsoft has launched the MAI Superintelligence Team to develop AI systems with superhuman capabilities in specific fields, starting with medical diagnostics. The company expects “medical superintelligence” within two to three years.

Led by AI chief Mustafa Suleyman, Microsoft plans major investments in this initiative, with Karen Simonyan as chief scientist. The effort focuses on specialist AI models rather than general-purpose AGI, emphasizing safety and controllability.
Suleyman envisions “humanist superintelligence”: AI that advances human well-being through practical applications like disease detection, battery innovation, and molecular design, posing “virtually no existential risk.”
Unlike peers chasing full general AI, Microsoft aims for targeted breakthroughs with tangible benefits, believing diagnostic AI could dramatically extend life expectancy by identifying preventable diseases early.
