$1.1 Billion in Art Sold in Less Than Three Hours
A single evening only brought in $1 billion at auction one other time, Paul Allen’s estate in 2022.
Christie’s May 18 evening sale was headlined by:
Pollock: $181.2M, nearly 3x his previous record
Brancusi: $107.6M, second highest sculpture price ever
Rothko: $98.4M, a new record for the artist
Obvious outliers, but the evening capped a spring auction season that totaled $2.5 billion (roughly 2x last year). This follows a Q1’26 that saw the postwar contemporary art market grow 23.1%.
Masterworks offers investors the opportunity to invest in blue-chip contemporary and post-war art. Since 2017, it has offered over 500 artworks and raised over $1 billion in total investments.
29 exits to-date have delivered net annualized returns like 16.5%, 17.6% and 17.8% on sold works held over 12 months.

Microsoft Copilot Health Combines Health Records, Wearable Data, and AI Guidance for US Subscribers
Intelligence: Microsoft launched Copilot Health in preview for US users, a secure space inside Copilot that connects your health records, wearable data, and medical questions in one place to give you personalized and trustworthy health guidance.
You can link Apple Health data, connect records from over 50,000 US healthcare providers, and build a personal health profile so responses are actually relevant to your situation.
Answers are sourced from thousands of trusted health organizations and shaped with input from over 250 physicians across 24 countries, plus a partnership with Harvard Health.
Your health conversations are kept completely separate from the rest of Copilot, are never used to train AI, and can be deleted or disconnected at any time.
Copilot Health also helps you find the right care, letting you search for local providers by specialty, insurance, language, gender, and location.
It is available at Copilot.microsoft.com/health for Microsoft 365 Personal, Family, and Premium subscribers aged 18 and over in the US.

NVIDIA and Microsoft Built a New Superchip That Turns Laptop Into a Personal AI Agent
Intelligence: NVIDIA unveiled RTX Spark, a new superchip built with Microsoft that turns slim Windows laptops and compact desktops into personal AI agent machines, delivering 1 petaflop of AI performance with up to 128GB of unified memory.
The chip pairs a Blackwell RTX GPU with a 20-core Grace CPU over a high-speed chip-to-chip connection, giving it the power to run 120-billion-parameter AI models locally with full privacy and no cloud dependency.
NVIDIA OpenShell and new Windows security primitives let users control exactly what their on-device agents can and cannot do, including masking personal data before anything gets sent to the cloud.
Adobe is rebuilding Photoshop and Premiere from scratch for RTX Spark, promising up to 2x faster performance across AI, editing, color correction, and effects workflows.
Beyond creative tools, RTX Spark handles 12K video editing, renders 90GB 3D scenes, runs AAA games at 1440p over 100 frames per second, and supports over 1,000 games and applications in the existing RTX ecosystem.
Laptops and compact desktops from ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft Surface, and MSI are coming this fall, with Acer and GIGABYTE models to follow shortly after.
