📕 LEARN SOMETHING
Use AI to practice negotiation skills
ChatGPT has loads of GPTs (that no one really seems to be using anymore). A really good one is Negotiation GPT. It’s been very helpful to me - I’m an introvert, and I really used it to improve my ability to land contracts and advertisements for this newsletter.
I also used it before I bought a car (I hate used car dealerships). I know people have used it to practice for salary negotiations too. Check it out.

How to do it
Go to the GPT
Type in “Prepare me for a negotiation - I’m buying a car soon from a dealership, help me role-play”
Turn on voice

Mark Zuckerberg's Layoffs and Shift in Performance Management at Meta
Intelligence: Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced a plan to cut approximately five percent of staff, labeling them as "low-performers," marking a significant move amidst ongoing discussions about the company's operational strategies and the influence of AI.

Zuckerberg is initiating layoffs of about five percent of Meta's workforce, focusing on employees who are "not meeting expectations."
This directive contrasts with his previous statements about using AI to replace midlevel engineers, indicating a current limitation in AI capabilities.
Employees affected by layoffs will receive "generous severance," as per Zuckerberg's memo.
The CEO emphasized the need for "the strongest talent" in 2025, but the criteria for this have not been defined.
Zuckerberg’s approach mirrors Elon Musk's management style at Twitter, where a demanding work culture was enforced.
Recently, Zuckerberg has also relaxed content moderation policies on Meta’s platforms, allowing more hate speech and misinformation, speculated as an effort to align closer with political influences.

Examples of great and trending AI art
Would you believe pixel art could make food look this good? Vegetable_Writer_443 brought these delicious scenes to life using MidJourney. Here’s one of the prompts he used:
“A pixel art scene of a cozy breakfast spread, showcasing a stack of fluffy pancakes drizzled with golden maple syrup and topped with a pat of melting butter. Fresh blueberries and a dusting of powdered sugar are scattered around the plate. A steaming mug of coffee sits nearby, with a cinnamon stick resting on the saucer. The table is set with a woven placemat, a small jar of honey, and a sprig of mint for garnish. Soft morning light filters through a window, casting gentle shadows. --style raw --stylize 350 --v 6.1”
