But now it looks like Luma AI has a model to edit videos, which is really wild.

For example, you can upload a video of someone else dancing and then put anyone's face and body on that video, and it looks just as realistic as a Nano Banana photo.

• The model supports start and end frame constraints, enabling directed transitions and controlled motion between scenes instead of free-form, unpredictable generation.

• Luma positions this as a bridge between live-action shoots and AI post-production, allowing teams to “reshoot” locations, costumes, or effects without repeating the physical shoot.

• Ray3 Modify is available via Luma’s Dream Machine and builds on video modification features introduced earlier in 2025, putting it in direct competition with Runway and Kling.
