Klarna Launches Agentic Product Protocol for AI Commerce
Intelligence: Klarna has introduced the Agentic Product Protocol, an open standard that makes online products easily accessible and understandable to AI systems, aiming to shape how AI interacts with digital commerce.

The protocol provides AI agents with a structured feed covering more than 100 million products and 400 million prices across 12 international markets.
Klarna describes the system as a “common language” that allows AI tools, merchants, and platforms to exchange product information consistently.
Merchants can integrate through Klarna’s hosted API to make their products discoverable to any AI agent or platform that supports the protocol.
The API accepts multiple common feed formats, including Google Merchant, Shopify, Facebook Catalog, and basic file types like CSV or JSON.
Klarna promotes the protocol as a way for merchants to reach AI-driven shoppers without ads, paywalls, or additional listings.
Developers, AI platforms, and merchants can access the full specification and API starting December 15.

Adobe Expands Firefly With Advanced Video Editor and New AI Models
Intelligence: Adobe has upgraded its Firefly app with a new prompt-based video editor and added support for third-party AI models to enhance image and video generation across its platform.

Firefly now allows users to make precise edits using text prompts instead of regenerating entire clips, improving workflow efficiency.
The new timeline view lets users adjust frames, sound, and visual elements directly, offering more control over details such as lighting and camera angles.
Adobe integrated several external models, including Runway’s Aleph for detailed visual edits, Topaz Astra for upscaling to 1080p or 4K, and Black Forest Labs’ FLUX.2 for enhanced image generation.
The FLUX.2 model is live across Firefly, with Adobe Express users gaining access in January.
The Firefly Pro, Premium, and credit-based plans now include unlimited generations from all image and video models until January 15.
These updates follow a year of Firefly expansion that included new subscription tiers, a dedicated web app, mobile releases, and broader third-party model integration.
