Use AI to Redesign Any Room (Then Actually Do It)

A Reddit user asked ChatGPT to redesign their ugly apartment kitchen, got a visual mockup, then executed it in real life, and the results are shockingly close. This is interior design on a $0 consulting budget.

Steps:

  1. Take a clear photo of the room you want to redesign (good lighting, show the full space).

  2. Upload it to ChatGPT (Plus/Team) or Claude and say: "Redesign this room in [style]. Keep the layout realistic for a renter/homeowner on a moderate budget."

  3. Ask it to generate a visual mockup of the redesigned space or describe changes you can bring to a free tool like RoomGPT or Reimagine Home.

  4. Have the AI break down a shopping list with specific items, colors, and estimated costs from stores like IKEA, Amazon, or Wayfair.

  5. Execute room by room. Start with the highest-impact change (usually paint or lighting) and work outward.

Goldman Sachs Works With Anthropic to Build AI Agents for Banking Operations

Intelligence: Goldman Sachs is developing AI powered agents to automate internal banking work. The bank confirmed it has been working closely with Anthropic engineers to build agents that can handle core operational tasks. Early tests suggest meaningful time savings across back office workflows.

  • Goldman spent the past six months embedding Anthropic engineers inside its teams to build agents for accounting, transaction processing, and client onboarding.

  • The agents are built on Anthropic’s Claude model and are designed to run tasks end to end with minimal human involvement.

  • Bank leadership says the focus is speed and efficiency in routine work, not replacing judgment heavy roles.

  • Anthropic is pushing enterprise tools like Claude Cowork to help agents carry out everyday computer based tasks for white collar teams.

  • While still early, Goldman expects to launch these agents soon, signaling growing comfort with AI inside regulated environments.

Visualize What's Inside an AI Model (No PhD Required)

Someone on r/LocalLLaMA built an open-source tool that lets you upload any .gguf model file and explore its layers, neurons, and connections in a 3D visualization. It's like an X-ray for AI models, and it makes the "black box" a lot less black.

Steps:

  1. Download a small .gguf model file (try TinyLlama or Phi-2 from HuggingFace - under 3GB).

  2. Visit bbycroft.net/llm for an interactive explainer of how LLM layers work (great primer).

  3. Use this to compare models before choosing one. A 7B model with more attention heads in later layers often performs better at reasoning tasks

AI-Related Ads Air During Super Bowl LX as Tech Giants Battle for Attention

Intelligence: AI companies transformed Super Bowl LX into an advertising battleground with at least 13 AI-related spots, from Anthropic's viral anti-ad campaign mocking competitors to SVEDKA's first primarily AI-generated Super Bowl commercial. The most talked-about moment came from Anthropic's multiple satirical spots titled "Deception," "Betrayal," "Treachery," and "Violation" directly jabbing at OpenAI's plan to put ads in ChatGPT, sparking an online feud with Sam Altman.

  • OpenAI countered with an earnest "You Can Just Build Things" Codex ad showcasing its coding tool with a builders theme, arriving amid the very public spat with Anthropic over monetization strategies and trust.

  • Google spotlighted Nano Banana Pro through an emotional story of a mother and son using AI to redesign their new home, while Amazon's Chris Hemsworth-starring spot showed Alexa+ appearing to plot against him by closing garage doors and pool covers in darkly comedic fashion.

  • SVEDKA partnered with Silverside AI to create the first primarily AI-generated Super Bowl ad in history, a 30-second spot featuring Fembot and Brobot dancing at a party after four months of AI training, proving polarizing but unforgettable.

  • The advertising onslaught included Meta's Oakley AI glasses with IShowSpeed and Spike Lee, Ramp's AI spend management with Brian Baumgartner (Kevin from The Office), Rippling's Tim Robinson onboarding an alien monster, and Crypto.com's $70M bet on the AI.com domain to bridge crypto and AI under one brand.
