Gemini 3.5 Flash Now Has Built-In Computer Use, Making It Easier to Build Agents That Can See, Reason, and Take Action Across Platforms
Intelligence: Google added computer use as a built-in capability to Gemini 3.5 Flash, meaning developers can now build AI agents that actually interact with browsers, mobile apps, and desktop software rather than just answering questions about them.
Before this, computer use was only available as a separate standalone model. Now it lives inside the main Flash model alongside tools like Search and Maps, so everything works together in one place.
This opens the door for more practical, long-running tasks like continuous software testing, automated workflows across professional apps, and anything that requires an AI to actually navigate a screen.
Google added safety features on top, including the option to require human confirmation before any sensitive or irreversible action, and an automatic stop if the agent detects it is being manipulated by a prompt injection attack.

Meta is Stepping Out of Ray-Ban's Shadow with Its Very Own AI Glasses Brand
Intelligence: Meta launched Meta Glasses, its own branded line of AI eyewear built with EssilorLuxottica, starting at $299 with three frame styles including one designed in collaboration with Kylie Jenner.
The glasses come in 26 distinct styles across colors like Racing Green, Merlot, and Sandstone, with sun, polarized, Transitions, and clear lens options, plus compatibility with prescription lenses you can add later without voiding your warranty.
They run on Meta AI powered by Muse Spark, Meta's newest model from its Superintelligence Labs, which brings smarter answers, better vision understanding, and hands-free help for things like calendar management and live translation in 20 languages.
On top of AI, you get open-ear speakers, an advanced mic array for clear calls, hands-free photo and video capture, and over eight hours of battery life with up to 40 more hours from the included charging case.
Meta Glasses are available at Meta.com, LensCrafters, Sunglass Hut, Best Buy, and Amazon across the US, UK, Canada, and several European markets.
