Anthropic Launches Claude Code Remote Control
Intelligence: Anthropic has launched Remote Control for Claude Code, allowing subscribers to command the coding agent from their iPhone or Android devices. The feature is rolling out first to Claude Max subscribers for $100-$200 monthly, with Claude Pro at $20 monthly access coming later.
Remote Control functions as a synchronization layer that bridges local CLI environments with the Claude mobile app, letting developers start tasks on their desktop and continue from anywhere.
Users run the command claude remote-control in their terminal to generate a QR code, which opens a synchronized session in the mobile app while keeping files and MCP servers on the local machine.
Claude Code hit a $2.5 billion annualized run rate as of February 2026, more than doubling since the start of the year, with 29 million daily installs in Visual Studio Code.
Analysis suggests 4% of all public GitHub commits worldwide are now authored by Claude Code, as AI tools write roughly 41% of all code.
The feature replaces brittle community workarounds like Tailscale tunneling and Termius SSH access with a native streaming connection that includes automatic reconnection logic.

Notion's AI Teammates Can Now Automate Workflows Across Your Entire Stack
Intelligence: Notion has released Custom Agents, autonomous AI teammates that handle recurring work 24/7 across Notion, Slack, Mail, Calendar, Figma, Linear, and custom MCP servers. Early testers have built over 21,000 agents, with Notion internally running more agents than employees.
Custom Agents can answer repeat questions, route tasks, compile status updates, and automate workflows, all described in natural language with configurable triggers.
Ramp's team has over 300 agents, including a "Product Oracle" that answers dozens of daily questions about roadmap and features.
Remote saved 20 hours per week and completely replaced their IT help desk with one agent, while Braintrust built a Deal Spotter that sends weekly reports on upgrade-ready accounts.
Custom Agents are free through May 3, 2026 during public beta on Business and Enterprise plans, then will use Notion Credits based on usage starting May 4.
Notion provides an AI usage dashboard, proactive alerts, auto-pause at credit limits, logged runs, reversible changes, and detailed permissions to control agent access.
