Hi everyone,

Google's rolling out its biggest update yet by integrating Gemini AI into Chrome, making our browsing safer and more intuitive. It's exciting to see these tech upgrades, but will they make our online experience smoother or just more cluttered?

Notion's new agentic AI in Notion 3.0 promises to be your virtual teammate, but can it really handle all our tasks autonomously without us losing control? Only time will tell!

Check out our newest partner: Pippit AI (I'm ready addicted), and Guidde

Let's get right into it.

Dual AI Engine
Powered by Google’s Nano Banana & ByteDance’s Seed 4.0

What does this unlock? It means one prompt can teleport you anywhere (like the surface of the moon), or right next to your favorite idol in an anime scene. One prompt can change your look instantly: new hair color, new makeup, even fashion from across the world. You can revive old, blurry family photos with one click, or turn a simple portrait into a Pixar poster or cyberpunk masterpiece. This is creative freedom.

Google Rolls Out Gemini AI Across Chrome With Safety and Productivity Upgrades

Intelligence: Google announced the biggest Chrome upgrade yet, integrating Gemini across desktop and mobile to make browsing smarter and safer while keeping users in control.

Source: Google (with edits)

  • Gemini in Chrome is beginning to roll out for Mac and Windows users in the U.S. in English, while mobile support will be available for Android and iOS devices, and enterprise availability will be provided through Google Workspace with data protections and controls.

  • An agentic assistant is coming soon to handle tasks like booking appointments and ordering groceries on your behalf, with the ability to pause or stop at any time.

  • Multi-tab understanding lets Gemini compare and summarize across sites and build itineraries, and new recall features will help you find pages you visited before using natural language prompts.

  • Deeper integrations with Google apps like Calendar, YouTube, and Maps let you schedule, jump to video moments, and see location details without leaving your current page.

  • You can access AI Mode in Search from the address bar and ask questions about the page you are on to get an AI Overview alongside the content, with follow-up in AI Mode.

  • Safety upgrades include Gemini Nano-powered scam detection expanding to fake virus and giveaway sites, AI-driven cuts to spammy notifications that now reduce about 3 billion unwanted alerts per day on Android, smarter permission prompts, and an AI password agent that changes compromised passwords in one click on supported sites like Coursera, Spotify, Duolingo, and H&M.

Akshay Kothari and Notion Debut Agentic AI in Notion 3.0

Intelligence: Notion launched the Notion Agent as the centerpiece of Notion 3.0, pitching it as a teammate that can autonomously build and manage work inside Notion while pulling in context from connected tools.

  • The Notion Agent can create pages and databases for users, search beyond the workspace across tools like Slack and the internet, and act as a Notion super user.

  • It can plan tasks and execute up to 20 minutes of autonomous work at a time across hundreds of pages, with users able to review and stay in control.

  • The agent remembers user preferences for how work should be organized and referenced, storing editable memories in the user profile.

  • Users can set up multiple profiles with different agent behaviors now, with fully automated and more customizable agents promised in future updates.

  • Notion highlights use cases including generating and editing email campaigns, aggregating and analyzing feedback into a single report, and turning meeting notes into emails and proposals.

  • Cofounder Akshay Kothari previewed agents with demos such as a cafe tracker and a movies-to-watcha database based on Rotten Tomatoes scores.
